Post interesting riddles that you have heard.... or even created! Try to find the answer to the riddles (NO GOOGLING). Ask questions or for hints if you are struggling.
I'll start it off:
Alive without breath, As cold as death, Clad in mail never clinking, Never thirsty, ever drinking

I am the beginning of the end, and the end of time and space. I am essential to creation, and I surround every place. What am I?

Ah. You know your riddles. How about this:
What great strength and power cannot get through, I, with a gentle touch, can do.
Many in the streets would stand, If I were not a friend at hand.

Another good one. A key
My favorite old one is:
A sultan tells his two sons he will decide the heir to the throne via race. Off he sends them by telling them whichever prince's camel finishes the race second, that prince shall be the next sultan. Upon realizing this puzzle, both princes set off, wandering together with little intent on heading to the castle. A wiseman met them on their travels while in a small village and asked them why they wandered so aimlessly. Upon hearing their issue, the wiseman whispered something to the princes and they immediately remounted the camels and raced to the castle with great speed.
What did the wiseman tell the princes?
