Need 4 more GMs I believe. Reach out and bring in some good people.
Some of my thoughts:
1) Would you be interested in some sort of development/Europe system? I always loved the idea of this and tried to do it long ago in like uosl2
2) any interest in a champion HC of 85?
3) I'm already working on draft class, and there should be a good amount of real classes. After we run out, I'm going to go fictional for awhile most likely. Interest in creating prospects at that time or an eventual switch to retro draft. Keep in mind I'd probably only go back to 1980ish because I'm not a big fan
4) what kind of history would you like? I have my own web space so I'd be happy to upload each season result etc
5) any interest in play by play? It's a pain in the ass for reg season, but I think I can upload playoffs? I dunno
6) anything else? Let me know, I want to start as soon as we get the last GMs. I'm uploading a preseason tonight, no point in a FA period because 97% of them suck and the ones that don't are mediocre at best

ehh, Retro kills league, unless you are willing to bust a Ewing, MJ etc, stay fake

3. I'd be fine with fake players the whole way but if we must go back, agree with your starting point. Couldn't care less about the 50-70s players really

1) YES! XSL did this and it was cool.
2) Hate champion HC rule. Makes the league less competitive.
3) I like Fictional, but what I also really like is what WillC used to do, which was find new, unused prospects and bring them in.

5) PbP for the Playoffs is cool.

come up with the backstories like we used to do in BBS

1. I think it might be more trouble than it's actually worth.
2. No.
3. Retro is fine but there is some major problems. People expect MJ to be a stud and certain players to bust. If you can bust a "stud" then go for it.
4. All of it.
5. For the playoffs possibly.
