The media coverage instantly after the debate is laughable.

VP debates never mean much. It was nice to see Uncle Joe come out swinging but at the end of the day, the undecideds (the reason for debates) don't give a crap about the bottom part of the ticket.

Your opinion has absolutely no merit. No matter what happened in the debate you would say that Biden came out on top just like the people on ABC News. There is no doubt in my mind that the so-called "analysts" have pre-planned what they are going to say about the debate. It is ridiculous how biased they were in their coverage after the debate. Anybody looking at this from the outside-in could see just how slanted their coverage was. Stephanopulos comes in saying after the debate that Biden "dominated" the debate... All of the liberals on the panel started to reiterate his sentiments.... and then there was one guy talking about how this debate had put the momentum back into Obama's hands after Romney had "gone on a role" and that he and his staffers are "excited" and "buzzing" after the debate. So many things wrong with that statement. Number one, how the *^%$ do you know that this has put the momentum back on Obama's side? Who said so? Is it because you and the you (the media) say so? Because the general public couldn't give a %$#& about that sort of stuff. Number 2, the Obama campaign is "excited and buzzing" about the debate? Um, you better hope they are saying that. They and Romney's party will say whatever BS they need to say to help themselves in the election. How the %$#^ is the objective reporting when you say with great enthusiasm that Biden and Obama are feeling GREAT! REJUVENATED! EXCITED! after the debate, but say in a melancholy voice that Paul and Romney's staff feel "pretty good" about the debate. Not to mention the fact you could see Biden "laughing and having a good time" regarding some of the things Paul was saying(again, the "analyst" smiling while he is saying this). If you listened to all the major networks- they had talking points- they all said the same thing including CNN and MSNBC. It is so ridiculous how much garbage that networks like ABC can spew out and people actually take them seriously. Everybody, and I mean everybody, on ABC was talking about how Biden was "confident, did what he needed to do, controlled, dominated, and gave a new energy to Obama's campaign". Since when does acting like an arrogant and belligerent fool signify praise in a debate? Biden acted like a loose cannon the entire time (not in a good way), talking over Ryan (and the moderator) when it was Ryan's turn to answer, trying to control the debate etc. I'll tell you what, he didn't look good in doing it. It was hard to hear Ryan’s answers due to Joe’s mouth running constantly. If his mouth wasn’t talking he was laughing his way through some serious issues and smiling like a lunatic. We are talking about life and death issues here: nuclear bombs, war, revolutions in the middle east and Biden is smirking and laughing the entire time. Ridiculous. The media, however, appeared not only to ignore such a blatant display of idiocy but they praised him for it and proclaimed him as the winner of the debate. blegh... Shame on the media.

Tmac, the winner was Biden, ignore your own bias and you know it, you already have your mind made up, so you don't matter at all, what matters are the undecided, and the scientific polls that actually mean something say Biden won, however, it's very possible that in the long run Ryan wins the debate because it's far easier to nail Biden on his incessantly arrogant laughing...any bump will be minimal, unlike what the first presidential debate did for Romney

My issue is that these networks go out of there way to praise him and turn this into something that gives Obama "momentum" going forward. ABC News is supposed to be objective? They weren't last night. Again, my views mean nothing. Whoever won the debate means nothing. The way that the analyzing was conducted after the debate means everything.

Is it the person who said more things that you agree with? Is it the person who garnered the most attention from the audience? I'm legitimately curious. I'm neither Republican nor Democrat, but the bias shown for one candidate over the during the post-debate analysis by ABC was shocking. If that simple observations makes you think of me as being "brain-washed" or "belonging to a cult" I don't know what to say to you.

Honestly, neither of them really looked good. No joke. VP is going to be one heartbeat away from being President and neither looked very presidential.
Biden's arguments had more substance. He was clearly more experienced and seemed to have known what he was talking about. The problem was, he came off as an arrogant douche. He was extremely disrespectful to Ryan throughout the entire debate (whether he was cutting him off or smiling almost as if he was laughing).
Ryan came off as a vag. Biden was attacking him and he really did not fight back much at all. He was unable to counter most of Biden's points and he was mostly passive.
In the end, both of them really really suck.

Everything Ryan was saying was getting legitimately refuted, and he really had no answer for anything Biden was saying. Funny how you say I had my mind made up before the debate, sounds like you're talking about yourself.
