They are both terrible candidates. I wouldn't vote for either, but if I did it would only be to vote against Obama.

Obama is so bad he couldn't even get his laws passed by a democrat controlled congress.
Very sad times.

He didn't really even defend him lol.
Just listed a bunch of guys who were considered by many historians to be terrible (and even left out both Bushes. Well he did mention W as a contender).

I haven't really defended Obama at all in this thread..I've said little things here and there but nothing major...

He made promises that he didn't live up to (said he would cut the debt in half). There is no reason to believe from his track record that he will improve the condition of our company if given another 4 years.

more than anything though, I think rooting against the elected President of the United States is an idiotic thing to do, regardless of his party affiliation. Im a Conservative, but if the President gets elected, and Im in the minority, I sure as hell hope his ideas work amazingly well, and things go smoothly, because thats what I want to happen regardless. I dont think my beliefs are so amazing that I hope the country falls even farther into recession, or hope that things go worse. I also wont abandon my country at the thought of any one man being elected to office, if elected Obama doesnt have to worry about politics in his second term, maybe then he can focus on getting the country on track, if not, we have a chance to voice our opinion again in four years, or, in two years. I just wish the parties word work with not against

Don't take a snippet of what I said and go on a little "copy and paste" rant. You are a cheap conjurer of tricks if I have ever seen one. My whole statement was that there is no reason to believe from his track record that he will improve the condition of our company if given another 4 years. Can you refute that? Reduce the deficit, provide jobs, resuscitate the housing market....That's what we need out of the POTUS. I wish he could have fulfilled some of those things and started to turn the country around, but he just hasn't. I don't vote for color, party, sex or whatever it may be. I vote for whoever presents the brightest future for the nation.
